Mario Mendoza
TRAIL AND ULTRA RUNNING
Mario has been running for 14 years and has specialized in trail running for seven. He likes running anywhere in the mountains and enjoys trying different distances because they all intrigue him. Mario grew up in California and now lives in Bend, Oregon, with family roots extending to Mexico- something Mario is very proud of. His biggest passion is to build bridges between the Mexican American cultures, as he loves both and is proud to be from both countries. Mario has won 5 USATF Trail National Championships, has won Trail Runner of the Year 3 times in Sub Ultra, and has been top American 3 times for the USA teams (twice in the ultras).

The Organic Vanilla Flavored Waffle. I will admit that I eat at least one every day even if I'm not training because it goes so well with coffee.
