Running/Obstacle Course Racing

Nell grew up in the heart of the endurance community in Boulder, Colorado, with her dad, Bolder Boulder winner and former Nike runner. She graduated from the University of Northern Arizona where she won three Big Sky Steeplechase titles and one Big Sky 5k title. She went on to become a professional triathlete and has recently dabbled in obstacle course racing, where she came in 2nd at Tough Mudder World Championships in 2018. While training for an IRONMAN, she competed in her first marathon (California International Marathon, doubling as the 2018 National Championships), placing 7th female and qualifying for the Olympic Trials with a time of 2:31:20. She is now focusing on marathons as she trains for the 2020 Olympic Trials.
